Ringette For Life

A 2011 statistics report noted that less than 20% of coaches in Ringette on the bench were female. As a result, a female coach on the bench policy was set in place within provincial and municipal Ringette associations. Despite this great initiative, a shortage of female coaches still remains.  So how do we get ladies to embrace a leading or supporting Ringette coaching role?  By encouraging more woman to play the sport of Ringette! Doing so will enlarge the pool of potential coaches which will provide strong role models for the young girls participating in the sport.
